Senior Marketing and Partnership Manager, InfoSec World Conference & Expo Southborough, MA
MIS Training Institute and the InfoSec World Conference, one of the leading IT security events in the industry, seek a dynamic, results-oriented Senior Marketing and Partnership Manager. This person will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to market strategy for InfoSec World, as well as the other events in MIS Conference Division. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4-5 years of paid-model event marketing experience and either a background in the high-tech arena or a strong interest in developing knowledge of the security and audit industry. The primary goals of the Senior Marketing and Partnership Manager are to increase attendance at MIS paid-model events through effective digital and direct marketing campaigns and manage audience development and retention efforts. He/she will report to the group's Director of the Conference Division and will be responsible for all marketing efforts, including developing the overall marketing strategy for all conferences, rolling out the promotional schedule and deadlines to the team, working closely with the database group to provide accurate list selections, creating email and direct mail campaigns, tracking all results, and performing post-conference analysis. This person will work closely with all members of the conference team to advance MIS rapidly-growing conference business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Developing and executing effective targeted email and direct mail marketing campaigns
Managing social media strategy for conferences, as well as the MIS US brand (includes Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Identifying new partnership opportunities with industry associations and media sponsors; grow and cultivate existing relationships
Leading the development phases of building out all conference websites and regularly maintaining
Overseeing telesales team by providing conference highlights and pricing, as well as implementing strategies to help increase efficiencies and sales
Managing marketing costs to budget
Writing engaging copy for and assembling all marketing materials, including conference brochures, promotional materials, event invitations, email blasts, etc.
Assisting Director with creating copy for sales collateral
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of how to run effective direct mail campaigns
Excellent copywriting and editing skills
Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate go-to market strategy to a team and drive it forward
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and work under tight deadlines, especially during peak conference times
Familiarity with database marketing
Knowledge of the security and audit/high-tech market a plus
Willingness to travel to MIS conferences several times per year to help staff events
A minimum of 4-5 years of paid-model event marketing experience

Sales Associate, InfoSec World Conference & Expo - Southborough, MA
MIS Training Institute and the InfoSec World Conference & Expo, one of the leading IT security events in the industry, seek a highly motivated, results-oriented Conference Sponsorship Sales Associate. This sales rep will be a part of MIS Conference Division and responsible for selling sponsorship packages and exhibit space at InfoSec World ,as well as the other IT security and audit conferences within the conference group and sponsorships for our executive dinner series. The Sales Associate will be expected to not only bring in new accounts, but also increase the total number of spending accounts within our sales database and strategically grow key existing accounts by introducing and selling new conference packages. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a sales role and either experience in the high-tech arena or a strong interest in learning about the security and audit industry. He/she will develop relationships with clients by providing consultative and strategic recommendations that align with their current initiatives in order to meet sales goals.

Experience selling exhibit space or trade show conference sponsorships
Proven track record of successfully breaking into new accounts and growing existing ones
Consistent history of meeting or exceeding yearly quota
Experience supporting a heavy number of outbound sales calls and emails per day
Excellent communication, follow-up and presentation skills
Desire to take initiative and set up face-to-face meetings, as well as attend other industry events to meet with clients and prospects
Onsite involvement at MIS conferences supporting clients and ensuring they have a positive experience
Results-oriented mentality and strong desire for rapid advancement
2-3 years of sales experience selling to marketers, preferably in the IT industry
